Bora Escapade – Day 2 (051009)
It was just a short catching-up breakfast since Janice and I are in constant communication. So, what was left for us to do was this photo op:
And so, Janice and Joie left Boracay around 6:30am. Mom and I went back to the hotel room to get ourselves freshened up. Gemma and Judith were already prepping up when we got there.
We don’t hav anything scheduled for the day so I just dragged them for some shore walking so they could get familiarized with the place. But of course, lots of photo op happened along the way:
Since it was a little past noon, we opted to go back and rest for a short while.
We just bummed around the shore. Gemma has been dying to get her skin tanned so she spent some minutes under the sun. Judith, Mommy and I, on the other hand, hid under a tree. Mga takot mangitim! LOL. Suddenly, a guy approached us and offered banana boat ride. Since we don’t have anything planned, we gave in to the offer. But hey, it took me like 5 minutes to negotiate for a P250-per-pax banana boat ride. And I even haggled to get my mom ride in the speed boat… for FREE! Lucky talaga si Mudra, Mother’s Day eh! LOL.
It was an ok activity for me. I just wish they flipped that boat so that ride would me more fun. But since there were kids on board, it was ok na rin.
Since it was a Sunday, we needed to hear mass at 4pm. So, after that short banana boat ride, we all went back to the hotel to get changed in more decent clothes.
The Holy Rosary Church is located somewhere in Station 1 so we took a tricycle going there. It was a small nice looking church. While inside the church, I confirmed one of my long-time wishes… I wanna get married in Boracay… in this very church! Since, Catholics are no longer allowed to have beach wedding, I will just settle for a beach reception. So, to my future groom and hubby, please take note of this. We’ll get married in this church! LOL.
I soooo love sunset so I didn’t let my 2nd night pass by without taking shots of the Bora sunset. Too bad though that our 2nd day sunset is not as amazing as I have seen in my first visit. But still, it took some shots.
After that short sunset pictorial, we had our buffet dinner along the shore. It was included in our package so eat galore kami.
The rest of the night was again spent with shore exploration…
Since we were all a bit tired walking around the shore, we called the night off at around 11 midnight. Ang aga pa di ba?! Kasagsagan pa lang ng partee!!! Bakit ba, eh pagod na kami! LOL
So, it was snooze time for us…
To be continued…
