Dream come true!!!

So, I’m going to Boracay after all!

Yipee!!!

I was really hopeless last Sunday so I decided to  post an entry on my dreams about going to Boracay. Come Monday morning, I received a call from my colleague (IT Section Head, that is!) they decided to go to Boracay for a summer get-away.

Oh well, it was a bit of a long story. Brace yourself, the story and characters might confuse you a bit. LOL!

That colleague initially called me some two weeks ago and asked me if I wanted to join her to Palawan together with two other colleagues. They were looking at availing of the 788 promo fare Cebu Pacific recently announced. Although Palawan isn’t in my travel plans this year, I immediately said yes. Lakwatsera talaga! LOL! 

However, afternoon of that same day, a colleague from my former company SMS-ed me and invited me to join her and her kid in Boracay in May. She has already booked flights and hotel accommodation for them. Since it’ll be just the two of them travelling, she can give me accommodation for free. So I again said yes. Sayang naman, libre daw eh! 

But the main problem is both invites are on the same date. Patay!

So, I called back my colleague and sent my regrets. I told her that I prefer to go to Bora this summer and that my friend slash former colleague offered me free accommodation. Palawan has to wait for a while… I’m saving it for another trip. Hopefully a romantic one! LOL! Good thing she accepted my explanation. Well, nothing beats free accommodation, hahaha!

But I got another problem. When I tried to book flights online (same schedule as my friend slash former colleague’s), the minimum fare I could get is P4,200. Umiral ang kakuriputan. Haller?! Eh halos kapresyo ng Thailand-Vietnam fare ko?! No way! Hehehe!

Bottomline, I backed out to both.

So that was the short background of my Boracay disappointment.

Upon learning that story, my colleague called me last Monday morning and told me that they decided to move their trip to Boracay since I wanted to go there. Oh di ba naman?! Naluha ako dun ah! Besides, they have never been to the island.

And just this afternoon, we finalized our travel plans and secured ourselves affordable fare (via Kalibo nga lang). And guess what? I could still spend our first night with my friend slash former colleague. It would surely be fun! Everybody happy  eh?! Tsaka ko na problemahin ang land arragement and hotel accom namin.

Since we opted for the May 9-12 schedule, I will have to tag my mom along. Mother’s Day kaya yung May 10! I could not afford partying in Bora and leaving my Mommy home alone on Mother’s Day.

Hmmm… so am I excited? OF COURSE, I AM!!!

One problem though. I really need to shed off some fats. Diet and exercise galore ito for sure! LOL!

Hmmm, it seems that blogging my dreams and wishes is a good thing. Prayers are answered immediately. I think I should post my deepest romantic dreams, too. LOL!
